We apologize for not having a front page update in awhile. We've been keeping up with the artwork during this quiet time, though. If you haven't seen in a while, browse through our artists to see some of the recent submissions.
MJ recently finished the music for the Chipmunk EP, titled 'A Way from Scuzztown.' Please find info for purchasing through the store page.
The next phase of the Chipmunk EP project, the film 'A Way from Scuzztown,' is currently in progress. MJ and filmmaker Stephen Kane are currently hashing out the plan of attack. Filming will take place through summer '08. Anyone interested in assisting with the making of the film, please contact us! Filming will take place primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area and Lake County. Set and puppet designers currently needed.
There's a lot going on in the NotWorld! MJ is wildly working on an art/sound project that'll start with an EP release tentatively titled "the Chipmunk EP." The sounds should be completed in the next month or so, then the project will make its way to be mixed and mastered back east by the notorious "Hurricane" Dave Thompson.
During this fall MJ and a crew of crazies will be working on a 30 minute puppet movie project that is tentatively slated for a winter release. We'll give you updates and details as the madness unfolds.
PsychoNot Art is also looking to add another NotArtist to the ranks real soon as well. Details pending.
The expansion of the NotFilm and NotMusic sections of the site will begin to burgeon soon, so find your way back as often as you can. Solicitations are also being sought out at this time as well for these sights and sounds sections.
PsychoNot Art is pleased to have made a flier for the Particle Accelerator Benefit Show at the Thompson Rod & Gun Club Grounds in Thompson, CT, Saturday, August 25th.
The show is dedicated to the memory of The Legendary Jack Young, and proceeds will go to United Services, a non-profit center providing extensive behavioural health and social services for Northeastern CT.
PsychoNot Art and tons of bands will be at the event, and some of Jack's art will be on display, so please come by. Visit particleaccelerator.org or myspace for more information.
